Artistic Director

In January 2025, Leah assumed the role of Artistic Director with Azure Family Concerts, a program of Autism Pittsburgh that provides live music experiences with excellent musicians in a sensory-friendly, judgement-free environment.

Teaching Artist | Pittsburgh Festival Opera

Leah educates Pittsburgh Public School elementary students on opera and stagecraft, through instruction on movement, musicality, and rhythm, to classrooms of 10-30 students at a time. Students perform memorized movement and songs following workshops with the Teaching Artist.

Teaching Artist | Azure Family Concerts

In collaboration with Autism Pittsburgh, Leah designs and performs hour-long interactive, sensory-friendly concerts for neurodivergent children, ranging in audience size from 12 to 150. In these concerts, all behaviors are welcomed and celebrated.

Artist & Choreographer | Savannah VOICE Festival

As a 2023 Study Grant Artist, Leah was featured in a variety of events including community outreach concerts, cabarets, and the tribute to World War II-era music “As Time Goes By,” for which she doubled as choreographer. As such she pulled from multiple dance styles of the era and adapted them to a concert setting.

  • As a Teaching Artist, Leah has collaborated with many non-profits— including Pittsburgh Festival Opera, Azure Family Concerts (Autism Pittsburgh), and the Lullaby Project Pittsburgh— to lead workshops for music education and community outreach.

  • Leah is adept at directing and choreographing both large and small groups with varying degrees of dance experience. With a background in art and dance, Leah sees movement as a medium with which to paint. Choreographer credits include “Stars of Tomorrow: This is Me,” “Stars of Tomorrow: Soul of the Delta,” and “Stars of Tomorrow: British Invasion,” ft. the University of Louisiana Monroe Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, and World War II-Era Revue “As Time Goes By” (Savannah VOICE Festival), where she also served as Assistant Director.
