Praised for her vocal agility and “dazzling” high notes (South Florida Classical Review), soprano Leah Huber is equally at home on opera, musical theatre, and cabaret stages. Most recently, Leah made her house and role debut with Opera Modesto as La fée in Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon. Role highlights for Leah include Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Tytania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), La fée (Cendrillon), Christine Daaé (The Phantom of the Opera), and Josephine (H.M.S. Pinafore). Out of costume, Leah can be heard honoring the Great American Songbook with cabaret appearances around Pittsburgh.

Hailing from Northwestern Louisiana, Leah has made a name for herself as a soprano while adding teacher and director to her repertoire of roles. In January 2025, Leah became Artistic Director for Azure Family Concerts, an Autism Pittsburgh program that produces interactive, sensory-friendly concerts for the families of the Greater Pittsburgh area. In the 2023-2024 seasons, Leah was a Festival Artist with the Savannah VOICE Festival, in addition to making her debuts there as assistant director and choreographer of their hit cabarets honoring the music of World War II.

Leah holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Off-stage, Leah can be found dog-earing her books, petting any dog who will let her, or cooking a big pot of Louisiana gumbo (www.leahhubersoprano.com IG: @leahmadelinehuber).
